Welcome to our Scout Troop
Scout Leader: Matthew Chilvers
Scouts Age Range: 10.5 – 14 Years
Scouts are held on a Friday night from 7 pm to 9 pm unless a letter/ email is handed out saying otherwise.
Each Scout Troop consists of small units of six to eight Scouts called a Patrol, usually led by a Patrol Leader. Outdoor activities feature regularly in the summer, with camping experiences ranging from a weekend away to a full week in the summer holidays. Throughout the year, Scouts learn various skills, such as map reading, camp cooking and first aid in preparation for camps and (of course) later life.
